I’ve always wanted to try light painting. The idea is awesome since you get the opportunity to draw on an empty canvas and capture another dimension in photography. The colors are vibrant and a little mesmerizing…I wish I could draw better! I brought sparklers with me but unfortunately I forgot about them…well there is always next time.
I’m about 7 months late on posting this one, but the Chihuly Exhibit at the MFA was amazing. All the glass sculptures were hand blown and assembled. The colors were really beautiful. Great exhibit if you get an opportunity to see it.
With the help of my assistant, Elaine, we cooked our first asian cuisine. Using my mother’s recipe, we fried up some tasty eggrolls. These eggrolls are stuffed with shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and cabbage. The ingredients were marinated in sesame seed oil, oyster sauce, and mirin. No oil fires this time around!
UPDATE: We made it on foodporndaily.com again!
New England does have it’s perks. LEAF PEEPING!!
