Busto SD Card

Sorry for the lack of posts. My SD card isn’t being read by my computer anymore :( So I haven’t been able to take any pictures. Once I get it fixed, the weather will be normal again and I will be able to post (interesting) pictures again!

Feels like Fall

Minuteman Bike Path at Brattle Drive, Arlington, MA - 2010.10.30

This is what I see when I bike to work. Peaceful.

New Lens!

Front of South Station, Boston, MA – 2010.10.23

This post is to show the power of my new portrait lens: Canon EF 85mm f/1.8! Yes this was a boba that got enclosed in an ice cube…I wonder how that happened.

Yo Adrienne!

Boston Aquarium, Boston, MA - 2010.09.11

Canon Rebel T1i: Manual 1/60, f/4.5, ISO 3200, 27 mm

Meet Rocky. The fish that resembles coral reef and rocks. I’m not sure if these type of fish are aggressive, but the look on this fish makes it seem a tad bit angry. I guess if I were stuck in a fish tank with people gawking at me, I would be too. Sorry dude!

Get $$, Get Paid.

Alg's Fridge, Arlington, MA - 2010.09.08

Canon Rebel T1i: Manual 1/60, f/3.5, ISO 1600, 23 mm

Ever since watching the youtube video “Keeping your fridge stocked”  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBRL7D0wcXM), I’ve always wanted to keep my fridge stocked with drinks. Now that I have my own place, I fulfilled my dreams! This is a shot of my fridge – stocked full of soda, green tea, coffee and fuze. The only thing I’m missing is the IZZE. Anyway, you should come visit!

Someone’s junk is…

Gift Shop at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco - 2010.06.14

Canon Rebel T1i: Manual 1/125, f/3.5, ISO 100, 18 mm

These bottles are actually  used bottles that were recycled in San Francisco. The bottles are heated up again and flattened. I have no idea how they retain their original labels through the flattening process. The bottles run for about $15. Talk about someone’s junk being another man’s treasure.

Just Recycle it!

Avalon, Catalina - 2010.06.09

Canon Rebel T1i: Manual 1/1000, f/5.6, ISO 200, 55 mm

Some of these bird houses are made out of recycled license plates. A good way to get rid of trash on Catalina Island, where space is already limited.

Welcome!!

After looking through other blogs available on the interwebs, I decided to start my very own photoblog! It is kinda sad that I no one, other than me, gets to see my pics. So, I’ll try to post [daily] interesting pictures that I take. Hopefully this photoblog will force me to be creative with my shooting and to keep taking pics. Feel free to leave comments and critiques!! Ty.
